Wilson Name Tapes is a small family business that has been supplying New Zealand with printed and embroidered name tags for over 50 years. It was bought in 1986 by its current owners, who operate the business from their Masterton home. Until recently, printed tapes were available using traditional printing techniques, but due to a variety of circumstances, this is no longer the case.
Although we don't use them any more, our two English presses are over one hundred years old, have been lovingly cared for and, owing to the simplicity of their construction, still operate as smoothly as the day they were made.
